GERMANY:

Avoid traffic jams with the following route: A7 motorway - motorway departure point at Oy-Mittelberg, then with the B310 road to Oberjoch, then turn left in the direction of Tannheimer Tal on the Austrian provincial road B199 to Weißenbach, turn right at the roundabout on the B198 to Steeg or the A7-departure point at Füssen, main road 310 to the border of Pinswang or A95 junction to Garmisch, main road 24 to the border of Griessen. Further main roads in Austria: The 314 to Reutte and on road 198 towards Steeg. Or on the Austrian provincial road 200 (Bregenzer Wald) over the Hochtannbergpass to Warth, carry on onto the Austria provincial road 198 to Steeg towards the towns' suburb of Walchen, shortly before arriving in Steeg.

The last part of the A7 motorway leads to the Austrian border tunnel now!

SWITZERLAND:

We would highly recommend the journey over the E60 motorway until you reach the connecting road at Au > B204 motorway in the direction of Lustenau > B203 towards Dornbirn > B200 towards Alberschwende. The Bregenzerwald provincial road follows through the Bregenzer Wald (Forest) towards Schröcken > over the Hochtannbergpass > (at a height of 1,776 m - please attach snow chain to your tyres in case of snowstorms) to Warth > turn left into Lechtal > Steeg. Proceed through the entire centre. > Through the regional centre of Hägerau > after the HÄGERAU sign at the end of the village, carry on for another 1 km to the holiday hotel in the suburb of Walchen.

ATTENTION!
The connecting road over the Arlbergpass and Lech / Warth is unfortunately not passable in winter!

TRAIN:

Deutche Bundesbahn (German railway) train over Ulm-Kempten to Reutte station. The same stop applies to journeys over Munich and Garmisch. Take the connecting Postbus or the Oberlechtaltours private bus line to the Langen am Arlberg station, change buses to Warth over Lech-Zürs (only possible in summer).
